(Individual Events) HK$650/1 event or HK$1200/2 events (Must be in same weapon)
(Team Events) HK$1500/Team

Awards:
(Individual Events) Medals will be presented to the champion, first runner-up, and two second runners-up in each event, and merit awards will be given to those placing 5th to 8th
(Team Events) Medals will be presented to the champion, first runner-up, and two second runners-up in each event
Remarks:
Each event has a limited quota and will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis, while slots last
The report time for each event will be announced based on the actual number of participants and the arrangements on the competition day
Advancement rate will be approximately (Individual Events) 60% & (Team Events) XXX
If less than 5 participate, the event will be mixed with the other gender and/or age group of the same weapon. The final ranking will be awarded separately. If the number of fencers of both male and female in the same event is less than 5, such event will be cancelled
Participants must register for the age group corresponding to their year of birth, but may choose to compete in one higher age group and must select the same weapon category
Fencers can participate in more than one age-group competition. If the competition time overlaps with other events, fencers must decide which competition they will participate, and the organizer will not make special arrangements and refunds
Fencers must follow by the rules and arrangements set by the organiser
The actual schedule is subject to the on-site announcement
Each participant entering the direct elimination bout may be accompanied by only one adult (parent or coach) inside the competition venue. Failure to comply with this rule may result in disqualification
The organiser reserves the right to merge, modify, or cancel any group or rules based on the actual number of participants in each category
No appeal will be accepted. All final judgments will subject to the chief referee’s decision
By applying, applicants confirm they are the parents or legal guardians of the participants and consent to photography, videography, and audio recordings by event staff at the venue.
The organiser, co-organisers, and service providers are also granted permission to use such photos, videos, and audio recordings that include the participants for commercial promotional purposes.
If an event is cancelled due to insufficient participants, the registration fee will be refunded. For any other reason or circumstance, including but not limited to typhoons or severe weather causing full or partial cancellation, fees are non-refundable and cannot be transferred
If the Hong Kong Observatory hoists a No. 8 typhoon signal or higher, or issues a Red or Black Rainstorm Warning, either two hours before the first scheduled match or during the matches, all matches for that day will be cancelled. The Organising Committee will notify participants of subsequent arrangements.

Requirement of competition equipment:
All fencers must prepare their own full set of fencing equipment and spare equipment. The competition will only accept equipment and clothing approved by Fencing Association of Hong Kong, China:
Jackets, breeches and under plastron with no damage, and required to conform with the least penetration standard EN13567:2002, i.e., with 350N of penetration resistance.
Mask: Fencer must have mask for weapon of event participated, which must be undamaged and in good condition. There must be two independent safety systems on the mask which will not fall and can effectively protect the head and face. And required to conform with the least penetration standard EN13567:2002, i.e., with 350N of penetration resistance.
Prepare at least 2 weapons, 2 body wires and 2 mask wires (Foil and Sabre)
Foil and Sabre fencers must prepare suitable electric jacket. The jacket must be undamaged and good conductivity. The jacket must fulfil the specified requirement in different weapons of covering the specified valid surface.
Name do not need to be printed on the back of jacket and electric jacket
The direction of the glove’s cuff must comply with the rules; Sabre fencers must wear Sabre glove or sleeves (with electric conductive clothing)
Socks should be long enough to cover knee. No black socks are allowed
All fencers must use at least plastic hard chest protector
If a fencer’s equipment does not meet the required standards, the organiser may disqualify them
Competition System:
The competition starts with the poule, and direct elimination come afterwards.
Rules and regulations of FIE will be the main reference of the competition
In cases of unwillingness to fight situations (non-combativity), and if the bout ends in a tie, the result will be determined based on the poule result
Individual Events: Bout of poule ends when one of the fencers has scored 5 points or three minutes of effective time have passed. All direct elimination matches end when one of the fencers has scored 10 points or when the two periods of three minutes of effective time have passed in the last period. One-minute rest between two periods will be given in each direct elimination match
From the bout of all poules to direct elimination bouts table of 8, the effective time will not be stopped even the referee call “halt”. From semi-finals, the effective time of each match will be stopped when the referee call “halt”
Team Events: Each match ends when one of the team has scored 45 points (5 points/relay X 9 relays) or the effective time have passed (3 mins/relay X 9 relays).
Poule & Elimination: The first round of the competition will feature a poule format (round-robin), followed by a direct elimination (DE) format for the second round.
Team Composition: Each team must consist of 3 to 4 members.
Substitutions: The substitution may only be made at the end of a bout of a substituted fencer and the announcement, that a fencer is to be substituted, must be made at the latest before the beginning of the bout preceding the next bout of the fencer who is to be replaced and must be reported by the Referee to the opposing team captain.
Non-Combativity & P-Black Cards: In the event of non-combativity or a P-Black card scenario where the match ends in a tie, the final victory will be determined based on the team's poule result ranking.
